What we count

The site sends counts to TelemetryDeck, a company in Germany. A count says that a page was viewed, or that someone tapped a button. For example a link to a bank, an amount in the calculator, or a column in the table. A tap also says which bank or which amount it was.

A page view also has the address of the page, the address of the page you came from, the browser language, and the type of browser and device. TelemetryDeck finds the country from the request.

To count visitors, TelemetryDeck makes a code from the IP address and the browser. That code changes every day, so it cannot follow you from one day to the next. TelemetryDeck stores no name, no email address and no IP address. The counts use no cookies, and store nothing on your device. We use the counts to see how many people use the site, where they come from, and which parts of the site they use.

Hosting

Cloudflare hosts the site. Cloudflare is a US company. It handles the IP address of each request to deliver the site and keep it secure. It transfers data under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Links to banks

When you tap a link to a bank, you go to that bank's website. From that point, the bank's privacy policy applies, not ours.

Why we do this

Under the GDPR, our basis is legitimate interest: running a secure site, finding faults, and learning which parts of the site people use. We do not use these counts for advertising or profiling.

How long we keep data

TelemetryDeck keeps the counts for as long as our plan allows. They cannot be linked to you.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. Write to hello@oopsstudio.nl. If you do not agree with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
